Goals  ecoTwinning friends project

Through creativity, technology, and international teamwork, our students are empowered to lead the way, proving that together we can make a real difference and leave "green footprints of change" across the continent.

Understanding Carbon Footprint

Students learn to define what a carbon footprint is and explore how specific daily activities—such as transport, energy use, and recycling—impact the health of the planet

Measuring and Interpreting Data

Learners acquire the skills to collect and analyze simple environmental data using tools like questionnaires and calculators to understand their personal and collective impact.

Applying Sustainable Habits

The project encourages students to turn knowledge into action by adopting eco-friendly habits in their everyday lives, fostering a deep sense of environmental responsibility.

Fostering European Citizenship and Inclusion

By comparing their findings and lifestyles with partner schools across Europe, students develop a shared European identity and cultural awareness.

Improving Communication Skills

Students enhance both their oral and written communication skills by using English as a common language and their own native languages to share reflections and creative work.

Promoting Creativity and Expression

Through the production of collaborative logos, poems, and videos, students are encouraged to express their environmental commitment through art and visual communication.

Encouraging International Teamwork

Students work in international teams through the TwinSpace platform, which helps them build empathy, cooperation, and autonomy while working toward common sustainability goals.

Developing Key Competences

The project strengthens diverse skills, including scientific reasoning, mathematical data analysis, digital literacy, and social/civic responsibility.
